Today we are so excited to welcome onto the show two incredible women making change happen in the opera industry- Adrienne Boris and Théodora Cottarel from Helios Opera!

Théodora and Adrienne are co-founders of Helios Opera along with Julien Rohel and Rebecca Miller. They founded Helios Opera on the foundation of three core values- artist recognition, quality opera, and social responsibility. 

They dig into what those values mean to them and how it influences their artistic choice. They also speak about how they’ve formed Helios to be a business-minded company, and the ways in which other artists can bring that approach to their own projects.

We also share some thoughts about “what is opera, especially in a digital market?” and “how do you define success when you’re creating your own project?”
